Only a select few were allowed to enter, Margaret Thatcher amongst them, to the consternation of her security! Can I just call out to the guy who took a picture of that and never sent it to me?
A hand-made portcullis protected the cloister from intruders
Some might say there’s no point in garden lighting in the summer months but the warmth of this shot in early evening still makes me feel good.
